Melbourne Park Stormwater Harvesting Facility Tour 2025

The annual clean-up of external infrastructure at the Melbourne Park stormwater harvesting facility has been completed in preparation for the upcoming irrigation season. This essential asset maintenance ensures that the stormwater harvesting system continues to deliver reliable performance and supports the long-term sustainability of the precinct's water infrastructure. To complement the operational program, a series of educational tours were introduced, showcasing the practical lessons learned from 15 years of stormwater harvesting operations. Organised in collaboration with the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), the tours attracted more than 35 participants across four days, including representatives from local government, water authorities, university scholars, and specialist consultants.
