Specialist consultant in integrated water management. Iouri has many years of experience innovating stormwater and recycled water solutions - what we need as we face more climate changes and population fluxes across Australia.
- Peter Morison, C.E.O., VICWATER
Iouri from IV Water had contributed at our Australian Water Recycling Forums and I found the project case studies he presented on water recyling, Water reuse, and storm water management were really excellent.
- Jay Nair, Poject Director, IBR Conferences
Iouri's knowledge of Water infrastructure and design is second to none along with sustainable water outcomes.
- Craig Rothleitner, Director and Founder, ARI Water Solutions
if your after a fully integrated water management solution from survey, design, implementation to commissioning and maintenance then you should have a chat with Iouri from IV Water for your next WSUD Stormwater Harvesting Project.
- Stephen Herd, Australasian Manager, Fraenkische
In my time leading the Stormwater Quality team at Melbourne Water, I had the benefit of engaging Iouri (IV Water) to prepare a roadmap for an independent verification scheme for stormwater treatment devices. This was challenging work and proved valuable in revealing the benefits of a scheme that would progress stormwater treatment. In addition to his critical work on the stormwater harvesting guidelines, Iouri went beyond the brief to drive the change. Iouri's passion for the progressing industry is striking and is evident in his strong work ethic.

We have used IV Water for multiple jobs at different sites in Victoria. Having first used them to design a fueling and wash down bays at Grantville and the speed and detail in which we got all the drawings and calculations has been why I continue to use them for other jobs for Holcim. They always make time to come to look at the problem/issue, take the time to understand what the client needs and have all the computations back within the time they say they will have it done. Very satisfied with their professionalism and expertise, and always just a phone call away.
Jake Sibenaler, Production Supervisor, COLAC | HOLCIM LTD
Aeramix were engaged by Power & Water to design, construct and integrate a new 2.5 ML re-use water tank and associated works. Aeramix had the privilege of working collaboratively with IV Water directly with Iouri during the design and construction and integration phase. This was a very successful project for all stakeholders and we would have no problem working with Iouri and the IV Water team on any future projects.
Cole Harvey, C.E.O., AERAMIX PTY LTD
In my dealings with Iouri (Director of IV Water) his breadth and understanding of the technical aspects of stormwater harvesting systems has been exemplary, He continually scans the industry for best practice solutions and has openly shared his experience and knowledge demonstrating his commitment achieving high quality results.

The Alice Water Smart Recycled Water Scheme (the Scheme), funded by the Commonwealth was implemented to reduce the dependency on the drinking water supply by some of Alice Spring's commercial water users for irrigation and non-potable purposes.
The 6ML/ day Scheme started development in 2012, achieved Class A+ supply approval in 2014 and is now connecting commercial users. The project to develop the Scheme involved augmenting the current DAF plant with additional gravity filtration and UV disinfection treatment barriers, building a new 2.5ML storage tank, constructing an additional 5 kms of network supply pipework and customer meter arrangements as well as modifying commercial user's site pipework.
Following an initial pilot filtration treatment investigation by Power and Water Corporation (PWC), IV Water were contracted to assist in finalising a Design and Construct tender treatment solution. IV Water provided expert advice on full scale treatment solutions, the tender scope. IV Water also assisted in pre-selecting suitable tenderers for a full-scale treatment package that included gravity or pressure filtration and UV disinfection. The required solution had to also consider the existing underperforming DAF plant and include opportunity to improve its performance along with the new treatment.
IV Water provided careful advice during the tender process to evaluate the best value for money solutions that balanced the operational and capital requirements to upgrade existing treatment and incorporate new treatment solutions that met the regulatory water quality performance requirements.
In the design phase and early construction phase of the contract IV Water also provided expert project management advice and early technical engagement with operational staff and contractors.
Optimising the existing DAF treatment and augmenting new treatment under a single Design and Construct contract was complex and achieving a regulatory approved solution within budget was testament to IV Water's skills, knowledge and experience being applied early in the tender formation and construction phases.

Iouri Vaisman (Director of IV Water) is a knowledgeable and passionate engineer who I had the pleasure of working with in Queensland on a number of large water recycling projects for the mining sector and communities surrounding these areas. Iouri was the crucial part of our team and excelled in technical and business development activities. I look forward to working with Iouri again in the future.

I have had the pleasure of working with the team at IV Water when managing the Western Courts Stormwater Harvesting augmentation project in 2019. The project was delivered by Melbourne & Olympic Parks Trust (MOPT), in partnership with City West Water.
IV Water's activities included the design and construction of a 380m long pipeline to transfer run-off water captured from Western Courts catchment to an existing flood chamber at Melbourne Park for treatment, then on to irrigate recreational ovals and open spaces within MOP's sporting precinct.
The work performed by IV Water was in compliance with City West Water requirements meeting the stakeholders objectives and project timelines. IV Water provided project oversight supervision, quality auditing during construction and developed documentation including commissioning plans that allowed the works to be safely tested and integrated into the existing treatment plant.
I would highly recommend IV Water to anybody looking for a genuine team of professional engineers that has excellent proven knowledge and capability in their space. A fantastic experience throughout all dealings.
Tom Stephanou, IWM & Liveability Team Leader, CITY WEST WATER
I worked among civil engineering professionals over the last 10 years and Iouri (Director and Founder of IV Water) stands out as a problem solver with great expertise in water infrastructure and engineering. IV Water has always made an effort to clarify all stages from planning to implementation.
